Here are some other tips to help you ensure that your data stays secure on any website, including Aeroplan's:
  • Avoid using simple passwords based on dictionary words. Your password should be hard to guess
  • Never use the same password on multiple sites or services
  • Be vigilant for suspicious emails or phone calls. Never click on "reset password" requests in emails - instead go directly to the service/website. Regularly check your Aeroplan account to ensure all transactions are legitimate
  • Protect your account number and password. Don't share it with untrusted websites, mobile applications or anyone who may not protect this information
  • Be vigilant when using public Wi‑Fi and when surfing on the web.
What to do if you believe your account has been compromised

If you believe there have been unauthorized transactions on your account, call the Aeroplan Contact Centre at 1‑800‑361‑5373 and immediately change your online password and secret question. Our Compliance team will investigate and work directly with you.

What to do if you receive a suspicious email
