Put Aeroplan Miles to work in your community

If you represent a local, grassroots charitable organization focused on enriching and improving the lives of people in your community, you may be eligible to participate in the Aeroplan Charitable Pooling Program.

Who the Pooling Program helps

The Aeroplan Charitable Pooling Program makes it possible for local organizations to pool donated Aeroplan Miles in a self-administered charitable account. The account can then be used to assist community members in need—for example, those experiencing situations of family emergency or requiring intensive medical care.

Eligibility

To qualify, charities must have a registered charitable number issued by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). Whether submitted by a charity or community of individuals on behalf of a person in need, applications must contain an email address for Aeroplan to use, as well as a contact person's name and telephone number.

About your application

Be sure to state the nature of your charity’s work and how you would expect to use pooled Aeroplan Miles. If your application is accepted, an Aeroplan account will be set up in the name of your charity. You’ll then choose a one-month period to carry out an Aeroplan Mile donation campaign using pledge forms. At the end of the donation period, you will have access to the total number of donated Aeroplan Miles through your account, subject to standard Aeroplan rules and regulations, including fees.
